So this is my daughter 12, last Christmas at primary school and of course her last chance for a gingerbread house. As her class is extremely large the normal stencil I had was not enough for 36 children, an extension was called for, I used the original house and found another that had similar dimensions that I could adjust to fit.
I bake and assemble and my children, my daughter in this case, decorated. Embellishments are different every time. This year at the front of the house we have a picnic table, fire pit, snowman on a sled and at the back of the house a pond with crocodiles and a flower bed.
The house has no theme and it is decorated to be colourful and have enough lollies to feed 36 children, I think we succeeded, don't you!
